Dr. Alfred O. Awani

Chief Executive Officer, LOGA Group, LLC
Dr. Alfred O. Awani is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in aerospace, defense, and energy. As CEO of LOGA Group, he leads global consulting and petroleum trading operations, connecting qualified buyers, refineries, and capital partners.

Before founding LOGA Group, Dr. Awani spent nearly three decades at Boeing, where he directed major defense programs like the RAH-66 Comanche, Advanced Tactical Laser, and Delta IV Launch Vehicle, working closely with U.S. military and government agencies.

He holds a doctorate in engineering, multiple master’s degrees, and has received 27+ national and international honors. Dr. Awani is also a published author and active community leader.

Mohamed Kamara

Founder & CEO, InovCares

Mohamed leads InovCares, a digital health platform dedicated to improving maternal care access through telehealth, point-of-care testing, and virtual OB-GYN referrals. His work is deeply personal, driven by a commitment to ending healthcare inequities for women. He brings 15+ years of experience in operations and finance, having supported over 150 minority-led businesses and held leadership roles at the Russell Innovation Center, Goodie Nation, and Wellness Healthcare Clinic. Mohamed also hosts The Empowered Patient Podcast, where he interviews changemakers in healthcare.

Dr. Michelle C. Garcia

Dr. Michelle C. Garcia is a distinguished leader in healthcare, law, and data science, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to youth wellness and public health. As managing partner of MCG Consulting, she leverages technology to drive strategic solutions across healthcare and government projects. Her commitment to prevention, education, and empowerment positions her
as a vital advocate for addressing the health and psychosocial needs of young people.

Dr. Garcia’s leadership, vision, and passion for community-centered solutions make her an indispensable asset to our organization and the future of adolescent health.

Monique Smalls-Dillard

Maternal Child Health Specialist | Registered Nurse

Monique Smalls-Dillard is a Registered Nurse with over 33 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in Maternal Child Health Services. She holds a BSN from Lehman College (CUNY) and an MSN in Education and Healthcare Systems from Regent University.

Monique has led high-performing care teams and built strong partnerships between healthcare systems and communities. She is deeply passionate about youth health advocacy and has volunteered in the Charles County school system for over 15 years. An active member of her church’s health ministry, she educates others on prevention and wellness.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and family game nights.

Halima Buhari Sibedwo

With a lifelong passion for medical research, I pursued opportunities from my undergraduate days to the National Institutes of Health, where I studied calcium transport in malaria-infected red blood cells. My clinical experience as a critical care nurse in burn trauma and cardiac surgery ICUs further deepened my understanding of healthcare’s complexities. A personal connection sparked my advocacy for women’s health, driving me to empower individuals and create lasting impact globally. I’m committed to leveraging my expertise to improve women’s health outcomes worldwide.

As an African woman, I’m driven to create change by promoting health equity and improving outcomes for women across the continent. My passion is fueled by the understanding that every woman deserves access to quality healthcare, and I’m committed to being part of the solution.
