Youth Program
Because the questions young people have about their bodies deserve honest answers — not silence.
Program Overview
MyHealthMyLife’s Youth Health program changes that. We provide age-appropriate, prevention-focused education on sexual and reproductive health — designed for teenagers and young adults ages 13–24, and the parents, caregivers, and educators around them. No scare tactics. No shame. Just the knowledge young people need to understand their bodies, make informed decisions, and know where to go when they have questions.
What This Program Addresses
The young people we serve often face the same barriers: health education that talks at them rather than with them, content that doesn’t reflect their culture or community, and adults who weren’t given the information to pass on. We address all three.
- Accurate sexual and reproductive health education in settings that young people already trust
- Prevention-focused health literacy that boosts confidence, not anxiety
- Resources for parents and caregivers to keep the conversation going at home.
How We Deliver Education
We meet young people where they are — in schools, community centres, faith communities, and online. Our education is delivered through:
- Interactive workshops in schools and community settings
- Peer educator training for young people who want to bring this work back to their communities
- Downloadable guides and printable materials available free on our Resources page
- Collaboration with educators, school nurses, and healthcare professionals
- Virtual sessions for communities where in-person access is limited
Community Impact
Health education that reaches young people early changes outcomes — not just for them, but for the families and communities around them. When a teenager understands their body, knows what consent means, and knows how to find a doctor they can trust, that knowledge travels.
That is the impact we are building — one workshop, one guide, one honest conversation at a time.
