About Us

Changing the Narrative of Teen Sexual Health

At MyhealthMylife, Inc we believe every young person deserves access to clear, compassionate, and age-appropriate information about their sexual health. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering adolescents ages 10–18 to make informed decisions that protect their health, relationships, and future.

Our Story

MyhealthMylife, Inc was founded by Dr. Nelson Alawode,  whose experience in healthcare revealed an urgent need for proactive sexual health education. After witnessing the medical and emotional challenges faced by young patients with STIs and unintended pregnancies, Dr. Alawode envisioned a program that would empower youth before they faced these risks. From that vision came a community-rooted initiative built on trust, prevention, and education.

Today, we continue to grow, partnering with parents, schools, and healthcare providers to build a culture where teens are supported, informed, and heard.

Our Mission

We work to reduce the rates of STIs and their long-term consequences by providing inclusive, evidence-based sexual health education that centers respect, responsibility, and resilience.

How We Make a Difference

Through interactive workshops, community events, school partnerships, and accessible resources, we reach teens at critical moments in their development. Our programs promote healthy relationships, self-esteem, body awareness, and communication skills—equipping youth with the tools to thrive.

Our Vision

To create a generation of confident, educated youth who understand their bodies, respect themselves and others, and are equipped to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) through informed choices.

We’re more than a program—we’re a movement for youth health equity.
